John has had a long career in aviation electronics, Industrial electronics, prototype design and build, general purpose computer systems hardware and software, commercial and banking application software design and implementation, image capture and processing, data compression and transmission protocols.

He is now focussed on fibre optic networks, specifically FTTH (fibre to the home), which puts him on the front line in the fibre revolution. John installed the first FTTH network to transmit all available TV signals over FTTH, including the SKY L-band native QPSK signals, thus facilitating the availability of all TV programs in new housing estates.
