Two videos on You Tube called "autism spectrum seems out of control" and "autism epidemic out of control." Quite interesting. Good sources regarding why there is such debate surrounding autism..now the debate is over the proposed dsm 5 which wants to put aspergers and pdd nos, etc...all in the same catagory as some spectrum disorder

Its not hard to agree with Sea Shepherd about the goal but this mission was headed for violence from the outset. This protest group is not a peaceful group. Their brochure clearly marks them out as eco-terrorists. They have rammed vessels themselves and scuttled vessels in harbour. They are waging war and in war people die - we should not let Sea Shepherd's propaganda over this collision attract sympathy for them they deserve nothing but public opprobrium for making a case for violence. As if there was not enough violence in the world today.

Finn et al say a tool is something "carried or maintained for future use" as opossed to hermit crabs which jump from one shell to the next but don't go out and find new ones then stash them for the next molt.

I don't know if it's quite comparable to crows or primates but it is interesting that the split coconut shells aren't a natural part natural environment for octopusses (lets not start the octopi/octopodes/octopusses war...) so it's something they've learnt lately.
