Students from the the University of Otago’s Centre for Science Communication will be showcasing their work from 4pm at the Art Gallery, until 7pm. (In the ODT Gallery.) Nibbles and a cash bar will be available. This red-carpet gala event is free to attend — dress for the red carpet.

Cross the road and head to the Regent Theatre at 7:30pm to see premieres of Science and Natural History Filmmaking students’ work. Some trailers for these are available on-line. Entry is $10, tickets are available from TicketDirect or the Regent Theatre. A short synopsis of each film can be found at the Regent Theatre website.
